Hi, we’re a group of basketball enthusiasts. Many of us played basketball as kids, and now our own children have grown up playing basketball too. It’s a fast, exciting and team-centric sport that is badly under-represented in the UK.
According to Sport England, basketball is the UK’s second most popular team sport that children play - over 1 million children play every week. And yet we’re constantly hearing from parents that it is really difficult to find good quality coaching and inclusive basketball training sessions for their children.

So we thought we would start a grassroots basketball training academy with 3 primary aims:
- Introduce children to basketball in an accessible and inclusive way;
- Help children develop their skills in the sport through structured and age appropriate learning;
- Have lots of fun – making sure the children learn basketball, teamwork and fitness with smiles on their faces.
We’re operating in a few locations at the moment but are always on the lookout for new coaches and new locations to expand our offering to more children. Watch this space!
